Will there be a leatherbound of Arcanum Unbounded?
Yes, there will be. We're working on that. I think that might be the next one after Bands of Mourning. Maybe. That is our plan. It's not our plan to do any of the individual novellas as their own leatherbounds, so that means that we'll probably need to wait for Dawnshard until we do it into a collection, so you can get a leatherbound of that.
Does Dragonsteel Prime spoil any future Cosmere novels?
There will be echoes of a few things in Dragonsteel Prime that end up in actual Dragonsteel, but only echoes. There'll be very, very slight spoilers, if anything. The big spoilers in that were for some things in Stormlight that you can piece together yourself.
Do you ever call Kaladin "Merin"?
I don't, actually, which is a little odd for me because I still, once in a while, slip up and use silver instead of tin, and some of these other things. But I don't ever call Kaladin "Merin." They feel really distinct to me, and even though they basically started as the same character, they've become very different characters.
I do misspell Dalinar, now and then. 'Cause I've spelled Dalinar three or four different ways, since I was a teenager, coming up with this character and developing him. I said it always Dalinar, but sometimes Dalenar, sometimes Dalinar, sometimes with an "er" at the end. I get it right nowadays almost all the time, but first draft, Peter had to do a lot of work tweaking some misspelled Dalinars.
Is the White Sand novelization still on target for 2025?
I will start working on it after Stormlight Five is in, and then we'll just see. I'm not gonna make too many promises. 2025's still a little in the air, what we're gonna be doing, because we have all kinds of things in the mix.
Does Kaladin eat cereal?
Not really a thing on Roshar, but I bet he would, because he would enjoy that it's quick and nutritious (depending on what you're getting).
Which Bondsmith spren would you each have?
Emily's in charge of facilities, so a building spren makes a lot of sense for her. I might be more Nightwatcher than Stormfather, with kind of the things that I do.
Any more Indian mythology coming in the Cosmere?
Kelyani and Rahul, who do our worldbuilding for that, because my grasp of Indian mythology and things is... it's improving, because they're helping me. But they have turned in a rough draft of their world guide for the Indian-inspired world in the Cosmere. So I do think more is going to be coming in the future. But I'm taking it slow, because there are certain things I've done a ton of research on, and I've immersed myself in. And Indian mythology is something new, and Indian culture. So I want to do a good job with it. This is why I brought in experts to help me with it.

Would you ever consider a Cosmere hero-shooter game like Overwatch?
Not a lot of shooting going on in the Cosmere at this point, so it would have to be late. I mean I'd consider anything video game wise. Mostly it's like: how good is the company? Like who's making that? But I mean, the video game, we had 3 people come court me to work on video games and on one hand I picked right because the other two never made their game even though they were from AAA studios. So I picked the one that actually went gold and it was by a fantastic studio full of people that I still think are great, but it just didn't go anywhere. Partially because of their monetization, partially because launching a new game is just super super hard, and Moonbreaker just kind of- I mean, I know they're still working on it and I hope that it will take off and people will enjoy and play it, but video games is just a rough rough world. Super rough world.

Yeah, exactly. And there are certain things I would write for others, but it just wouldn't work. Riot did offer me a hero once for League of Legends, like if I wanted to come design one. And so at some point, maybe I'll do that. I don't know if the offer is still open or not, but I've chatted with those guys over there a decent amount.
